The AMD’s first edition will feature monographic entries of varying length (XS, S, M, L) on galleries, dealers, auction houses, fairs, and individuals. Along with essential data (addresses, years of activity, etc.), entries provide overviews of company / individual histories and networks, information about artists exhibited / represented, bibliographies and archival information.
XS-entries either contain essential data only or fragmentary information on individuals or companies of whom little is known.
S-entries include a brief overview of a company’s or individual's history and essential data on activities, artists, clients, etc. (500 words max.)
M-entries are assigned to significant players on the art market; they provide a more exhaustive account of the subject’s history (1000 words max.)
L-entries are reserved to the most outstanding players on the art market, providing a detailed history and a plethora of supporting information (typically c. 2000 words, occasionally longer)
